GreenScan 3D is the most advanced, accurate and cost-effective method available for preserving, archiving, restoring and replicating the most important part of a golf course… the greens.
The foundation of the GreenScan 3D process is the digital scanning of your greens and the surrounding terrain using LIDAR technology. Working from multiple locations to ensure complete accuracy, we scan your green area in exacting detail, with reference points as close as every 6 inches. Once the data has been captured, it is imported into a sophisticated, proprietary computer application where it is processed and exported in a format that allows us to build Digital Terrain Models, As-Built Contour Maps and Slope Analysis Maps.
Then, when it´s time to rebuild… or replicate… your greens, we use an advanced surveying device, called a Robotic Total Station, to make grade control and finishing extremely accurate and time-efficient exercises. In fact, in addition to being the most accurate and time-efficient method for rebuilding golf greens, GreenScan 3D will save you money!
We also offer training in the proper use of the Robotic Total Station, so if you´d prefer to handle the rebuilding of your greens yourself, or if you have a trusted contractor for the job, we´ll make sure you´re able to use the system properly so there won´t be any surprises when your members step onto your newly rebuilt greens.
